Isaiah Ronald Wofford

Ronnie Wofford was born on March 1, 1940 to the union of John Henry and Patsy Wofford. Ronnie graduated from Douglass High School in 1958 as Mister Honor Roll. Two years later Ron married Patricia Ann McDonald. This marriage lasted 59 years and produced 3 daughters; Debra Genelle Wofford, Rhonda Denice (Eric) So and Varisha Renee Moseley.
Ronnie had his own business (Best Leasing) card for 32 years in California. He joined Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda, California where he was in the men’s choir. Cooking, golfing, fishing playing pool, bowling and he loved to travel. Ronnie as an extraordinary chef… he could seriously cook anything and make it taste like a 5 star meal, he loved his jazz music- “Grover Washington Jr., Miles Davis etc. He had exceptional taste in clothes and shoes, ties, and jewelry. With a weak leg and a speech impediment and being a black man he really fought hard for the good life.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; John Henry, Patsy, and brother Jonnie. He is survived his wife Patricia Wofford, daughters; Debra, Rhonda and Denice, sisters; Donnamae Hill, va (Eddie) Eldige, brother; Michael Wofford. 5 grandchildren; Keisha, Craig, Billy, Kaila & Karyn, 11 great-grandchildren, Jazzmean, Kazzmean, Aviesa, Cayden, Noah, Mia, Maya, Autumn Ray, Audrianne, Ocean Roycer, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation/viewing will be Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 2 to 7 p.m. in The Serenity Chapel at Beside Stillwaters Funeral Home 1616 NE 36th St. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11 am at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church 2809 N. Missouri Ave. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with the Rev. Lee Cooper officiating.

In honor of Isaiah we ask that you wear something green to his funeral service.
